SHARK | Reading Program

A program with Los Angeles County Health Services 'ACEs LA'  and Code Read (501(c)3) that encourages kids to read with a toy incentive as a reward.

Description

The Shark Reading program is designed to encourage and reward more reading among young people. This pilot program will measure reading habits before the incentive is offered as well as at the end of the program to measure the impact.

Project SCOPE
  • Capture current reading trends among participants.
  • Introduce a month long reading program with milestones to extend reading time.
  • Reward participants after reaching the milestone.
  • Record the difference in reading as a result of the program.
